Diwali Festival In Budapest 2009

Diwali is one of the major festival in India. It is "Festival of Light," where the lights or lamps signify victory of good over the evil within every human being . DIWALI Festival is going to be celebrated on Oct.31st, 2009. at 18:30 in the evening at Móricz Zsigmond gymnazium,Budapest District.II .Törökvész út 48-54.(Map Link) Entry is Free.

You can reach Móricz Zsigmond Gimnázium in following way through public transport:

1. Get into tram number 4 or 6 and get down at Mechwart liget tram stop.
2. Cross the road and get into bus number 11.
3. After 9 stops get down at Móricz Zsigmond stop
Maha prasadam will be distributed by ISKON as gift for the occasion and you can also try out Indian food. The duration of whole program is 90 minutes. To experience the Diwali spirit everybody is invited to participate in a "Celebration of Light Diwali".
